Designed for the compatible Kohler 47 L step trash can demonstrated in the product photos and installation guide. Compare your original pedal’s rear attachment loops, rectangular opening and side pivot positions before ordering. Other sizes or hardware generations have not been verified.
Installation overview
The installation guide starts with the damaged original pedal removed.
Transfer your existing metal foot cover onto the replacement foot bar.
Secure the cover’s original retaining tabs in their original positions. Needle-nose pliers are shown in the guide.
Align the tapered rear end and rectangular opening, then seat the rear mounts and both side pivots in the matching retaining points.
Return the bin upright and press and release the pedal to check lid operation. Stop and recheck if anything binds or does not align.
Minor layer lines and small cosmetic variations are normal for an additively manufactured part. Most of the pedal body is concealed beneath the original metal cover after installation.
